Our bed and breakfast provides a cozy common room, where delicious and authentic meals are served to start your day off right! You can enjoy a generous buffet breakfast consisting of homemade cakes (upon request), croissants, jams, yogurt with fresh fruit and cereal, all accompanied by fruit juices, milk, tea, and excellent coffee. And to satisfy every desire, upon request, we can also prepare American coffee, as well as offer cold cuts, cheeses, and eggs for a small supplement. Our guests are invited to relax in the common room, which offers a view of the lake and the wonderful surrounding nature, allowing you to enjoy the scenery from the moment you wake up. Furthermore, upon request, we are able to provide gluten-free products for those who need them.

The B&B of the Hawk's Nest was created out of the Stella Family's desire to welcome guests and share their recently built home on the shores of the lake. Ivan, a passionate videomaker of art history, has produced numerous multilingual cultural documentaries about Italian cities and beyond. Maria, a warm and brilliant hostess, is also an excellent cook who will delight you with her cakes and jams during your breakfast. Giulio, on the other hand, is a certified bartender who serves his alcoholic and non-alcoholic creations in the lakefront pub, just a few steps away from our B&B. We have decided to share a part of our home in Castel Gandolfo with other passionate travelers, eager to discover the history and art of Italian cities, local traditions and customs, good food, and the pleasure of immersing themselves in the atmosphere and flavors of Italy. Our area of the Roman Castles offers both encounters with history and the untouched nature of the Regional Park, as well as the gastronomic delights that each town in the Castles can offer. We will be happy to share with you advice and directions on how to make the most of your stay in the Roman Castles.

Area hills

The path that surrounds the lake is 10 kilometers long, mostly flat and extends for about 6 km within a charming forest, exclusively pedestrian and closed to vehicle traffic. The road that winds around the lake is completely accessible on foot. The surrounding region of the Castelli Romani is renowned for its culinary traditions and offers famous food and wine itineraries, with delicious cured meats, cheeses and traditional recipes. Additionally, you can admire exceptionally beautiful panoramic views and visit historical sites and monuments rich in art and popular traditions.
